December is an up and down month for me. It can be extremely busy at one point, and then get to the place where everything slows down. Then I get to relax and enjoy the holiday season. Right now I don’t have a whole lot to say, but i’m thinking about december in high school. I always had like a million things going on. Mostly the big madrigal dinner that my chorus would put on. I always loved those, because it was fun to dress up and sing at the tables for. Also the big concert at the end was always fun. The best year in chorus was when we were picked to sing at disney world for the tree lighting ceremony, I loved that trip soooooo much. Even though Epcot center was boring, but it was fun to be with all of my friends from school. That was one of those trips were you tried to hold on to every memory that you can before it’s over. Then poof…you are back at the school in the parking lot, and your mom is waiting for you to get off the bus.
My song for this memory is the main song from the musical “Hair” one of my friends made me listen to the whole soundtrack Cd during the trip and I feel in love with it

I think when you are able to find a friendship that lasts…you have a very good thing. It’s so hard to find the type of friends that stay with you for the long haul. You have to sort through so much…but when you find a friendship that just fits…it’s amazing. You should cherish those friendships doesn’t matter if they are real life or sl, those are important relationships..and they are so rare. Anyalia Pearl is that type of friend for me. I met anya around um…like over 5 years ago. We didn’t talk at first, our circle of friends made it so we never really got to talk. I was friends with a girl who wanted to have sex with her boyfriend, so that made things kind of sticky. Then a merger happened..where i ended up in the circle of friends that she was in…and then we started talking to each other. Once we started talking…me and anya were like peas and carrots. We always tried to work the same shifts or extra time so we were able to get through work. We started our own lame book club when we were supposed to be taking calls, and we would avoid calls to discuss the book we were reading between chapters. We weren’t good employees at all…but hey…..it was fun lol.
Now here is the xmas memory. I remember anya playing her video game, and me sitting next to her looking at a magazine. I would normally be telling her how much of a dork she was for playing the game, and that’s sooooooooo freaking ironic lol. Then we some how got into a convo about Lisa Frank. If you don’t know Lisa Frank is this glitter girly wonderland of stationary, stickers, pens, EVERYTHING! Super cute, and a must have. Well we hit a new point of bonding cause we shared a love for Lisa Frank products even though we were both adults, and that was soooo major. We then said that was what we wanted for xmas from each other, and sure enough….she gave me a Lisa Frank product…and I did the same for her. This proved our friendship would last…no matter what..and it did. I’m very happy, and grateful I have anya in my first life as my best friend…and I can share that best friendship in our second life. That’s a big reason I enjoy this game so much…even with my best friend being 3000 miles away….I can log on every night…stand up right next to her…and have fun with her like she is right next to me.

Well I was waiting for me to flake out, and not post another personal blog for like 5 months. Bam! I’m not flaking and doing a new blog lol. I think blogging scares me a lot, cause so many people put out flawless beautiful blogs. I’m not the best photographer or photo editor, so I was always afraid that my pictures would not be on the level of what others expect in a sl blog. I’m also a person that will randomly go on about a subject, and forget what my purpose is here in the first place. Like I just did ha lol. I’m not perfect, and I don’t think I could pretend to be perfect even if I tried. I like to say i’m perfectly imperfect, a total geek, and blah hehe. I do like sharing pieces of me with others, and sl has been a very big part of my life, so why not blog about it. Since it’s almost xmas time…I decided to do a little blogger challenge. Since I know that many people don’t look at my blog, that challenge with be mostly with myself lol. I do challenge anyone reading this that is apart of sl to take part and it should be fun to see what people come up with. My challenge is the countdown to xmas memories challenge. Each day until xmas I’m going to share a memory from xmas past, and also a song that I would use in a soundtrack for that memory. December is a big month for me since my real life bday is in December (Go Sags lol). Plus the holiday just makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside lol. So with that being said…here we go.

I was roaming around sl, and I found this person standing. When I saw him, I automatically thought of “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe”. When Lucy Met Mr Tumnus for the first time. Now why do I think xmas when I think of this book. Well when I was little this was the first book set my mom got me for xmas, and it meant so much to me. I hated the gift when I first got it, because it was a book. I wanted toys, and lots of them. I had no idea why my mom would give me a freaking book for xmas. She then told me it would take me on an adventure, and I was really mad then. I basically brushed it off, and made my way to all of my wonderfully pink new Barbie stuff she had for me. That night she told me to read a chapter of the book. I so didn’t get what her deal was…it was a book…there were like a million books in the world. After she told me she would take all my stuff and give it to kids in china that weren’t brats…I decided that reading the book wouldn’t be such a bad thing.
I found myself not wanting to stop reading the book, cause I was totally all into it. The more I got into the book the more I loved it. I was even trying to see if our closet in our townhouse would take me off to some magical land..where I had to fight to save all the animals. (the book had talking animals…talking animals is always a plus for me) When I was done with it, I was amazed at how wonderful a book was. I was then hooked on the whole series, and that is still true to this day.
Now when I think of this memory & put it music…the first thing that comes to my mind is Aphex Twin “Avirl 14th” I think about me in the bed, or even sometimes in my closet as a kid. Reading these wonderful books, and this whole world opening up for me. No words needed…just me and my imagination.

I recently saw the new video by Kanye West called “Power”, and I wanted to know more about the person that created that video. His name is Marco Brambilla, and to call him an artistic genius is putting it lightly. He takes video and turns it into art, and that has hella inspired me. This is the first video inspired by him.

It’s called blurred emotions, and I’ve had the idea for it for a bit but didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do with it. I’m always intrigued/tickled by the emocon faces thingy that I have on sl. I like how over expressive the emotions come out on sl, and it can look almost unnatural. I wanted to see if I was able to take it to a place where it looked semi natural. I saw the Marco Brambilla Piece called “ghosts” and that was my inspiration for the lack o hair and the white almost washing me out. Anyways here is me just experimenting.

I woke up this morning, and had a little bit of an itch to make a video. I really needed to stratch that itch so here is a little video. Nothing fancy just me being goofy and having a wonderful time doing it. I LOVE THIS SONG! I don’t know how many times, I can shout my love for this song. I’ll say it one more time….I LOVE THIS SONGGGGGGGG… I also like that the song gave me a reason to wear a bikini and show the new skin i got from “Pink Fuel” it’s called “EMBER”

Well who would have thunk that fireworks could be super fun in sl also. Well I found out that they could be a blast and as good as pie. Last night I was tped into a little slice of heaven called “Summertown Usa” on sl, and if you like the whole small town 4th of july party you will love this place. Did a little video of all the fun I had last night with some great peoples. WOOT WOOT! FIREWORKS!

I've always felt like a square peg cause alot of times that's what I feel like. A square peg that just doesn't fit no matter how hard you try to shove it in, and that makes me happy. I highly enjoy making people say OMG!, WTF!, and STFU!. I'm overly complicated, yet i'm simple at the same time. Look closer cause of the world is full of so much beauty, and if you don't take the time to look closer you might miss it. <3
